Prenatal and Postnatal Classes
Pregnancy and childbirth put a great deal of stress on your body, especially your pelvic floor and core stability muscles.
Our prenatal and postnatal classes aim to keep you strong and active during your pregnancy and to prepare your body for childbirth and becoming a new mum.
These small group classes are taught by an experienced exercise physiologist with a passion for women’s health. The classes are a combination of Reformer Pilates and matwork and focus on exercises to improve pelvic floor, pelvic stability, core stability, reduce back and pelvic pain, educate you about correct breathing techniques and improve abdominal separation.
An initial assessment is require prior to joining class. The therapist taking the class will incorporate your specific needs into the group class. If you are postpartum, please ensure you have received clearance from your GP / OB to return to exercise.
