Staying Strong and Active Through Pregnancy and Post Birth.

Pregnancy is a time of incredible change, and staying active can play a vital role in supporting your body through each stage. Regular, guided exercise helps maintain strength, reduce discomfort, and prepare your body for childbirth and recovery. Exercise is also amazing for mental wellbeing.

Our Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists are here to help you stay active and strong throughout pregnancy and safely return to exercise postpartum. You’ll receive a personalised exercise program tailored to your needs—whether you’re working out in our Pilates Rehab gym, at home, or joining one of our matwork, Reformer, or Semi-Private Group sessions.

While we no longer offer dedicated prenatal and postnatal classes, expectant and new mothers are welcome in our regular clinical exercise classes, led by experienced physiotherapists and exercise physiologists. These small group classes are tailored to individual needs and focus on improving pelvic floor function, core stability, posture, and overall strength. You will be offered modifications for exercises.

An initial assessment ensures the therapist leading your class is aware of your stage of pregnancy or postpartum recovery. If you’ve recently given birth, please obtain clearance from your GP or obstetrician before returning to exercise.
