Exercise Physiology

Personalised clinical exercise to improve your quality of life

Exercise Physiology is based on the science of the physiology of the body and involves personalised Clinical Exercise with a performance and therapeutic approach. As a result, we can help to prevent and manage acute and chronic diseases and improve quality of life — restoring optimal physical function, health and wellness. These exercise-based interventions have a strong focus on education, support and lifestyle modification.

Exercise Physiologists provide much more in-depth treatment than a personal trainer or gym instructor — they are university qualified and have extensive training in and understanding of the body’s physiological response to exercise, as well as the context of injuries, chronic disease, pain and disability.

They prescribe exercise that’s safe and individualised to your specific needs. It doesn’t matter how fit you are, how limited your movement is or what your goals are, they can able to put you on the right track.

Individual and group exercise therapy available.
