Improve your club head speed and enjoy your game 🏌️♂️
Sam Catherall is Higher Function’s Exercise Physiologist and is now Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) qualified. TPI is the world’s leading educational organisation dedicated to the study of how the human body functions in relation to the golf swing.
“What I have learnt from my training is that there is not 1 correct way to swing a golf club, but there is 1 efficient way for each individual to swing the golf club, based on what they can physically do. I aim to work alongside golf teaching professionals to help players identify their physical capabilities to help them play better golf” (Sam Catherall, EP).
Players can be referred by PGA teaching professionals to Sam for a Golf Fit assessment, but you do not require a referral to see Sam. You will be taken through the ‘TPI physical screen’. This will help Sam identify whether your golf swing (faults) can be attributed to physical limitations. From there, you will be able to work on your physical capacity with an individualised exercise plan.
As an experienced golfer himself, Sam brings passion and personal experience to his clinical reasoning.
